Picture Day

On November 8, it was school picture day

Halloween

Yeah this is late...I just realized I didn't get it updated. 

So KayeLeigh was Lightning McQueen 4 times Halloween week including Saturday night

But by Sunday (actual Halloween) she was tired of racecars and wanted to be a fairy

Every day on the way to school we sing the good girl song. It’s a song I made up because she was having issues with minding the teacher.  

Gonna be a good girl, a good good girl today

Gonna make good choices and be a good girl today

When it’s nap time I’m gonna lay down and sleep

When the teacher says no talking, I’m not gonna make a peep

Cause I’m gonna be a good girl, a good good girl today

Gonna make good choices, so we can go to Chick Fil A on Saturday

She told Jerid she got to watch a movie but she got in trouble for talking. So when I get on the phone with her just now I said “did you get to watch Strawberry Shortcake?” she said “uh huh. but mama…I made a peep at school today”   I said “you made a what?” she said “a peep. I made a peep”  I cracked up.  I said “well it’s ok, did you stop talking after the teacher told you to?” she said “yeah but I made a peep”    lol

how'd that get in there??

Well...the time has come to sell most of the baby stuff.  I have kept all of her clothes and toys up to this point on the off chance we were blessed with another little girl.  We have come to the conclusion that while it's not a huge possibility, if it did happen, Jerid knows that my skills would be utilized because I can't pass up shopping for a new baby.  So I'm sitting in the middle of the living room floor going thru clothes from preemie (yes at one time she was actually tiny) to 4T clothes. 

I pick up a little pajama jumper and held it to my belly. I said "KayeLeigh...this was the very first thing bought for me when I found out you were in my belly!" 

She got this horrified look on her face and said "did you swallow me?!"  

She has seen pictures of me when I was pregnant and I tell her "that's when you were in my belly" so I didn't think anything about saying it again this time.  But she's apparently paying more attention to what I say!
