our first tap/ballet recital

KayeLeigh had her first tap/ballet recital Saturday, May 28, 2011.  She was so cute and she did so well. I was nervous after our first rehearsal that she wouldn't want to stay on stage, but she did and she even knew the dances.  I'm proud of my little dancer!!!

last night we had our first dress rehearsal for ballet and tap. I only got pictures of ballet though...it was a little crazy!  the recital is Saturday at 2:30...I'll have more pictures then!

Well thanks to the lovely weather, we lost our new canopy :(   but it wasn't the house or the animals or us.

For Spring Break we went down to see Nina and KK got to see some longhorns...a little close for me ...

then we headed down to San Antonio.

T-Ball

We had our first t-ball practice Saturday.  It was quite an amusing hour.  KK decided the first time, touching the bases were optional. The second time, she beat the "outfielders" to the ball after she hit it.  She got it by the 3rd time!

I've recently tried my hand at making tutus since KK is so into ballet.  I decided I'd try a turquoise zebra style. It's like having my own life size dress up doll :)



Tyson

Tyson started having seizures Tuesday March 2.  KK saw the second one.  She just kept petting his paw and telling him not to cry.   We got him home on Thursday and they diagnosed him with epilepsy.  He's back to his self now and just has to take 2 pills a day (in a hot dog...what more could he ask for??)

KK missed him so much...

we are all so happy he's home and back to his old self.

well with everything between school, work and WEATHER I haven't posted in a while ;)  so let's catch up shall we?
